Downtown PUBlic is thrilled to introduce Dustin Jake to its roster of talented artists. In an era where music often leans towards heavier beats, thicker production, and theatrical performances, Dustin Jake prefers to keep things simple: just him, his acoustic guitar, and a great song. With his smooth, soulful voice and groovy, Timberlake-esque falsetto, he effortlessly blends elements of pop, hip-hop, soul, reggae, and jazz.
What ties all these diverse styles together is Dustin's acoustic guitar. Close your eyes, and you'll hear the rhythm of kick drums, snares, hi-hats, and dynamic guitars. Open them, and you'll witness a solo artist with nothing but his guitar. No pedals, no loops, no backtracks—just pure, authentic talent.
And Dustin has been making waves in the music scene lately. He's a two-time winner of the Radio 94.5 Rising Star Award and has graced the stage at the Temecula Balloon and Wine Festival twice, one of southern California's largest music festivals. Last summer, he captivated audiences on the main stage at the Temecula 4th of July Extravaganza at Ronald Reagan Sports Park, drawing in around 20,000 people throughout the day. Additionally, Dustin was honored as the inaugural Grand Prize Winner of the Wine Country Music Awards (WCMA's), impressively earning radio play, opening slots for national acts, studio time, and more, all in front of esteemed industry judges such as Terri Nunn (Berlin), Tommy Tutone, Vinny Appice (Black Sabbath), Joey Allen, Erik Turner (Warrant), and many others.
